This wonderful turquoise blue river is surrounded by jungle. About 23 kilometres south of Palenque, it transports you to the grandeur of creation and its indigenous people. The children in the community will offer you a tour in a small wooden raft that they built themselves, and you can discover the surroundings from the water. The seafront is unbeatable at sunset, where you can see white herons flying over the river.
