Reconstruction of the original
The Hotel de Ville is in the place of the same name, between the Seine and the rue Rivoli, it's a reconstruction of the original that burned down in 1871. It's facade has sculptures of famous French men (Voltaire, Rousseau, Charles Perrault, Jean-Baptiste Pigalle, etc.) as well as 30 French cities.
