Kitschy diner for breakfast
City Diner was located near out hotel in Orlando so we came across it out of sheer convenience. Our hostess seemed straight out of the 60's and she welcomed us like family. There is a small terrace overlooking the street and the restaurant itself is a bit kitschy but still nice. City Diner offers solid breakfasts and simple dishes for a quick lunch. A basic breakfast of pancakes, fruit salad, and scrambled eggs or omelets cost around $5.00. Don't miss it if you're hungry in downtown Orlando.
