The Seychelles had no indigenous population, the current population was created by immigrants of French, African, Indian and Chinese people that came here. And it shows in the diversity of religions practiced in the islands, where you can find Roman Catholic Churches, Anglican, Hindu, Buddhist and even mosques. This diversity of religions is not a problem for the population. On Sundays it is very common to see people wearing their best clothes attending church. It's quite a sight to see the girls in their Creole costumes, starched lace and bows on their heads.
