Small, beautiful church
This small, beautiful church was built in the 14th century and is in the village of Ferragudo, which offers magnificent views of the resort town of Portimao, the Arade River, and its route to the sea. It's quite a sight at sunset! The portico of the church is in the traditional Manueline architectural style of Portugal, and it has classical music coming out of a humble apparatus located at the altar. It also houses images from the 17th and 18th centuries. The nicest part of it is its elevated position: gulls flying over the tower, the neighborhood of cobblestone streets and small houses, and its excellent views.
