Saint Nicolas Church
This place of worship is mainly a normal and typical red brick church with its tower, its high walls ... the usual, come on. There isn't much information about it, or about the city in general in Spanish. And what I found was one of the surprises of the trip. By far, as I say, a church. Up close, a lot of people coming and going, with a door that opened into a goalie playing ... mmmm strange. In the concise guide it doesn't say anything unusual. A look a little scrutinizing and ... wham! The secret is in the roof. There are 20 wonderful apartments with solar panels, air conditioning and satellite TV! But ONLY on the roof, because as I learned later, the tower is a separate building for municipal offices and the body of the church with a wonderful concert hall acoustics.
