Church of San Nicolas de Bari

The church was completed in the early seventeenth century and replaced the older but smaller former church, the remains of which can still be seen. Baroque combines the grandeur and spectacle. It has three doors on the sides through two covered courts (north and south) and connected by means of a passage. A large Baroque altar formed by twisted columns, supports a large oval that frames the figure of St. Nicholas. What catches the attention is the boat that is attached to the ceiling in the middle of the church.
