Church of San Francisco and Hospital of the Holy Trinity
Facing the Plaza de San Francisco is the church of the same name, which is annexed to the Hospital of the Holy Trinity, now converted into a nursing home. The building was created in the 19th century on the ruins of the old convent of San Lorenzo (also known as the Escorial de Canarias) which was destroyed by a fire. Salvaged parts after the fire were used in its construction, such as the baroque stonework of the church, the staircase and courtyard galleries. Through the archway that leads into the hospital, there is a good viewpoint from which there are picturesque views of the Orotava Valley
