Church of Saint Jean

Vous trouverez l’église Saint-Jean dans la ville de Nogent (petite ville haut-marnaise, reconnue pour ses activités de coutellerie). C’est un édifice qui a été reconstruit (sur les plans d’un architecte de Langres) en l’année 1863, l’ancienne église tombait en ruine et n’affichait plus une taille suffisante au vue de la population grandissante. Elle démontre un style gothique. Sur son porche, une représentation de Saint-Jean est visible et à l’intérieur, vous verrez entre autres une statue de Saint-Eloi.Par contre, l'église n'est pas toujours ouverte.

You will find the St. John's Church in the town of Nogent (Haute-Marne small town known for its activities of cutlery). It is a building which was rebuilt (in terms of an architect of Langres) in the year 1863, the old church was in ruins and showed a sufficient size in view of the growing population. It shows a Gothic style. On the porch, a representation of St. John is visible and inside you'll see among others a statue of St. Eloi.Par against the church is not always open.
