Church of Our Lady of Loreto
Up Loreto street, leaving the river and the old Fervença public wash is the Church of Our Lady of Loreto, on an historic extramural promontory. The church was built in the XV century (but rebuilt in the XVIII century) and is representative of Mannerist and Rococo architecture. It has a rectangular plan with a single nave divided into 3 sections, with a high choir. The chapel is flanked by 2 vestries and has a Baroque altarpiece (XVIII century) polychrome and gilded wood, that contains an image of Our Lady of Loreto (Madonna and Child in her arms).
