Church of All Saints
The chronicles say there has always been a church on this site since Anglo-Saxon times. The current building goes back to the 14th and 15th centuries. It's "All Saints and Holy Trinity" or "Of all Saints and Holy Trinity". The church is very British, beautiful and surrounded by some of the oldest buildings of the town (including the oldest pub, Medieval) and the cemetery. This in conjunction with the trees that can be found there. One of the most evocative atmospheres... Regardless of our beliefs, the very friendly caretakers of the church explain all kinds of anecdotes and stories, as in the wars of the 17th century (the English Civil War), the king use of the church facilities as barracks.
