Typical village far away from everything
A little town in southern Arizona, Tombstone, springs to mind. It is a traditional place, anchored in the old west. Via this small town, you can enter the national park of Wrangell - Saint Elias (one of the most important in Alaska). Here, time has not passes: at 8 am the only thing that was open was a cafe in the only hotel in town, the station opened at 10 and that´s only if the owner wants to (he only worked in the summer and individual days in spring and autumn), abandoned cars on the street ... I love that feeling of not living in the XXI century.
