Typical English town
In one of our many excursions around England, unaware of its existence we chanced upon the charming small town of Chippenham. It belongs to the county of Wiltshire, located between Bath and London. It was on our way to Stansted Airport we found it, and we relaxed here on the last day of our tour. Small but well organized, quiet but fun ... A cluster of pleasant sensations and one of those typical English towns that I particularly love. In ancient times, it was a Roman settlement near the river Avon and they told us here that it has one of the most attractive folk festivals of the islands (Chippenham Folk Festival).
