Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo

Nei pressi del mercato di Ballarò, adiacente alla Piazzetta Lucrezia Brunaccini, si trova questa antica chiesa, non più destinata al culto ma di proprietà della Regione Siciliana. Infatti, fin dalla fine del 1800 è parte della Biblioteca Comunale di Palermo. Non è visitabile al momento ma si può ancora ammirare il portale esterno, intravedere la facciata del 1555 e la torre medievale vicina che è stata da poco ristrutturata. Il cortile interno, a malapena visibile presenta al centro una bellissima fontana. Sembra che prossimamente l'ex chiesa verrà aperta alle visite turistiche.
