Chicago Theatre
The Chicago Theatre, apart from its use as a venue for artistic performances, is a thing apart from most of the city buildings. Its logo and canopy became true Chicago icons long ago, although they are not part of the original building. It is surprising to know that the current marquee isn't authentic either because it was completely renovated a couple of years ago yet it kept its famous appearance. The historic marquee was donated to the Smithsonian Institute... The building is very ornate, with some parts in Renaissance and Second Empire style. I can not say much about the inside, but the outside doesn't catch your eye.
