Interactive exhibits
We visited this museum, located right at the beginning of Navy Pier, on the first day of our stay in Chicago. This turned out to be a mistake, as my son was suffering from terrible jet lag and soon deteriorated into a very silly mood. As the name suggests, the museum is dedicated to children, and there are plenty of interactive exhibitions to encourage learning. Many of these are complemented by workshops where kids can build models with great educational value. Sadly we didn't get the chance to enjoy many of these, but at least the gift shop is great!
