Château Et Jardins de Villandry

Villandry Castle has the most spectacular gardens out of all the castles I saw in the Loire Valley. It's not necessary to buy a ticket to enter the castle if you only want to visit the gardens as, admittance is free of charge. The gardens are divided into several different areas. They are bestseen from walking the high road as coming from inside the castle, since walking by them is lost due to the tall hedges. The one I liked most was the garden with a maze. It was like something out of the story of Alice in Wonderland. The Sunshine Garden recently opened and is also beautiful. A highly recommended
