Chateau de Montbrun hotel

Le Château de Montbrun est situé sur la commune de Dournazac, en plein coeur du Parc Naturel régional Périgord Limousin. Il s'agit d'un château fort construit au XIIe siècle et en partie refait au XVe siècle après un incendie. Il s'agit bien sûr d'un site classé Monument Historique. Ce château est tout simplement magnifique et je conseille de venir l'admirer à chaque nouvelle saison : selon la luminosité, c'est toute l'atmosphère du lieu qui est transformée! Le reflet dans le plan d'eau au pied du château en fait un endroit particulièrement photogénique.

The Château de Montbrun is located in the municipality of Dournazac in the heart of the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park. It is a castle built in the twelfth century and partly rebuilt in the fifteenth century after a fire. This is of course a listed historical monument. This castle is simply beautiful and I suggest to come and admire each season: according to the brightness, the whole atmosphere of the place is transformed! The reflection in the water at the foot of the castle is a very photogenic place.
