Small discreet chapel
A small, discreet chapel at the exit of the old center of Avignon, towards the river. Franciscan Brothers arrived here in the twelfth century when the saint was alive and are called ropers because they carry a rope at the waist. The church was built in the thirteenth century, was renovated several times and what we see now is seventeenth century, renaissance style but very simple, due to Franciscan ideology.
