Chapelle St Vincent

Esta pequeña Ermita, sólo se ve pasada la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Anges, que desde el puerto tapa la visibilidad. Desde la playa de San Vicente, sí que quedas entre los dos templos, la imposición de la Iglesia y la sencillez de la Ermita, hacen muy agradable la perspectiva. La Capilla data del Siglo XVII (1642), época en la que se puso de moda la construcción de pequeños lugares aislados para el culto. La capilla, una pieza arquitectónica muy pequeña, con un acceso marcado con un arco de medio punto, se ve como un elemento singular dentro del paisaje, ya sea desde tierra firme o desde el mar.

This small chapel, just looks past the Church of Our Lady of Anges, from the port cover visibility. From the beach of San Vicente, it does stay between the two temples, the imposition of the Church and the simplicity of the Hermitage, make nice perspective. The chapel dates from the seventeenth century (1642), time when fashion was building small isolated places for worship. The chapel, a very small piece of architecture, with access marked with a round arch, is seen as a unique element in the landscape, whether from land or from the sea.

La chapelle St-Vincent est une toute petite chapelle simplement composée d'un pièce rectangulaire ; une grande croix de bois portant un Christ martyr, se trouve derrière, tournée vers la mer. Construite sur un rocher de Schistes à l'extrémité de Collioure derrière l'église Notre-Dame-Des-Anges, si elle vaut le détour c'est pour le paysage dans lequel elle s'inscrit et auquel elle apporte une jolie touche de fraicheur. D'après la légende c'est sur se rocher que St-Vincent subit le martyr.

The chapel of St Vincent is a small chapel just composed of a rectangular room, a large wooden cross with Christ a martyr behind facing the sea built on a rock Shale at the end of Collioure behind Notre-Dame-des-Anges, if it is worth the trip to the landscape in which it operates and to which she brings a nice touch of freshness. The legend is about to rock that St Vincent was martyred.
