Grachtenfestival (Canal Festival)

Se trata de un festival de música clásica con más de 160 conciertos a lo largo de los canales de la bonita Ámsterdam, que se hace entre la segunda y la tercera semana del mes de agosto. Lo curioso es que se realiza sobre unas plataformas que montan sobre los canales y el público observa anonadado desde las orillas o desde los barcos que se apiñan a lo ancho del canal. Cada edición suelen cambiar las zonas, pero siempre se encuentran bien repartidas entre los barrios más céntricos de la ciudad. Unas 70000 personas han podido disfrutar de la edición del 2009.
