A must see
From the end of June to the end of August, every morning at 10 am, you can watch the colourful changing of the guard ceremony in front of the Parliament in Ottawa. Two regiments, the Governor General's Footguards and the Canadian Grenadier Guards, each with its own musical band in tow, celebrate this fascinating and complicated cermony. A guide will explain, in English and French, the meaning and history behind each act that makes up the ceremony. The event is a must-see, and to get a good spot, you should get there at least twenty minutes early.
