Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace

The Changing The Guard at Buckingham Palace, also called Changing the Queen's Life Guard attracts thousands of visitors to watch the soldiers and hear their music.

The objective of the changing of the guard, as the name suggests, is that a new guard comes to relieve soldiers who have been of service. These soldiers represent five different regiments. The members of the guard are accompanied by a band, which makes the ceremony entertaining with a variety of music, including both military songs, classic movie soundtracks as well pop songs or songs by famous artists.

Every day at 11 am (10 am on Sundays and every other day in winter), the palace guards march from Wellington Barracks to Buckingham Palace. It is colorful and has become an attraction for the more traditional, if you haven't seen these guards with their red coats and black bear fur hats, then you haven't been to London.
