Adjacent to Jouvet Park
Championnet Square is adjacent to Jouvet Park and not far from the historic center of Valence. I like it because it has a couple of cafes to enjoy the green space, while still within the city. At its center is a statue of Championnet, it was built a couple of centuries ago, when great works took place in the center of Valence, Paris style. Medieval houses collapsed, water treatment systems were installed because the centre had poor hygiene and nobles build beautiful homes around the square and Bancel boulevard. You can see straight facades which blend harmoniously with the prospect of the boulevard.
