End of a long journey
After almost one year traveling and approaching the end of the trip, I was getting to Patagonia and old friends were waiting for me. From Barilocha to Bolsón is 130 kms. I got on my bike and started pedalling going through 3 amazing canyons, lakes and huge mountains on all sides. At dusk you reach the junction of the road to Mallin, 3.2 kms from Ahualoa. One road goes up and down, snaking, past aqueducts and you reach Ahualoa. Another road goes through a wood, down a path through the woods, across a stream and there were my friends, who knew that one of those days I would come. The meeting was amazing and in the end I stayed almost a month, cutting trees, making firewood etc.
A month later I had to leave early in the morning, it was the only way I found to get out of this special place.
