Great restaurant
The name of the Cetate Restaurant means citadel, and is located in the village of Arefu, just as the road begins to climb the Transfagarasan Fagaras Mountains. Its called Citadel in reference to a nearby castle that can be seen from the terrace of the restaurant. We stopped one day in the afternoon to have a bite to eat. The waitress was not very interested in our presence and arrival, but after a while, she did did come, and we didn't have to wait long for the good. They had decent portions. I think it came out less than 10 euros for a snack between two and take a couple of beers.
