Ceramics Factory
What would happen without Pornic ceramics factory! Founded after World War II it manufactures handmade archiconocidos Breton bowls on which names are recorded. A 45 minute visit to the workshop shows you the various stages of processing, manufacturing, decoration, glazing and painting. It is necessary to make a booking in order to visit. Tours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 14.30, it is 3 € for adults and 1.50 € for 7-15 year old children. You can also reserve a space in the paint shop to design your own model and take it home. Next to the paint shop there's a media room where you can learn about the history and functioning of the ceramics factory.
There is an unusual an exhibition of bowls, all commissioned by different cities. In the store there are various models of personalized vases. A bowl is 5-6 €, I've had one for almost 10 years, I use every morning!
