ambitious cultural center
The municipal cultural center La Merced is located in the former Convent of Mercy, and contains the Public Library, the Municipal Archaeological Museum, two exhibition halls, a lounge and garden. Hearings and conferences can be held here. This is an ambitious project to resuscitate the Convent of La Merced and has the support of all political parties and public cultural institutions.
