Cute and charming
A charming town like Keswick has to have a beautiful center, and it's certainly the case here! Immaculately clean and tidy and very well-maintained, the center is dominated by a building called the Moot Hall. This was once the meeting place for the council, but today is where you'll find the tourist information center.
Unlike many English towns where you'll just see the same shops everywhere you go, things here still retain some Victorian character, straight out of Oscar Wilde. There's a lovely French patisserie, as well as shops and pubs. I had a chat with the owner of a pub, ve told me he thought the quality of services here is very high, because the town is so popular with tourists.
