Menorca Craft Centre

This handicraft center is in Es Mercadal and has in one part a display of traditional handicrafts as well as displays from new designers and artisans from the island. It’s a good way to learn a little about both the past and the present at the same time. The highlights are the sandals, which are perfect for summer.

The upper part is a large, open space they use for exhibits.

In the center, you can see all kinds of handicrafts from the island, everything from drywall to hand-made sandals (“abarcas”).

They also hold period expositions where the artisans can come and show off their products.
