Centre and Sant Domènec Cloister

We went into the old town and went to the tourist office (Peixeteria Square) which is coincidentally located at the start of the tourist route. The price is 2 € for adults and children are free. The tour begins at the back of the office where a small cloister stands. The cloister of Sant Domènech is an example of romanesque architecture and is the emblem of this institution. This cloister is all that remains of the Augustinian convent founded in the XI century. This is one of the most important Romanesque monuments of the city. The iconography comes from the Bible (with scenes from the Old Testament).
