Central youth Hostel
The Central Youth Hostel is a youth hostel and guest house in the central railway station of Beijng, near Metro Station Beijing Railway Station (北京 站), perfectly accessible from Metro Line 2, which is an ideal location as it is near the Gate of Heavenly Peace Square and the Temple of Heaven (although I do not recommend walking to these places, because it will take a 30minute-stroll-and the taxi will only cost two euros). Rooms with ensuite (about 30Euros per night for a double room) with a shared bathroom (15Euros the individual double 20Euros). The shared bathroom is very dirty and there is hot water with good pressure, but sometimes they are full, people are not very clean and you have to bring your own toilet paper ...
I prefer the rooms with a private bathroom, although there aren´t not many. Reservations are usually full. The hostel has a small shop, a restaurant, an internet room and a bar (with TV, billiards and darts,) and you can have a good time without leaving the building. Some rooms have a flat rate Internet access (included in the price), but not all of the rooms. The staff speaks English and Chinese as well.
