Cathedral of Santa Chiara

This cathedral is situated in the Old Town Square. It was built between the years 1285 and 1288, as recalled by a tombstone on the cover, and it was expanded and renovated in Catalan Gothic style between 1576 and 1588. Between the 17th and 18th Centuries, side chapels were built, which contain paintings and sculptures. I must mention the interior decoration, which unfortunately I could not visit because the whole cathedral was closed for renovation work. We even saw a bulldozer inside.
