Castrojeriz

Es un pequeño pueblo románico que te envuelve y te acoge entre sus calles de piedra y de grandes historias, pueblo que esta en el paso del Camino de Santiago. Cabe destacar que es una de las localidades que más obras arquitectónicas medievales conserva. Cuando llegamos a Castrojeriz, antes de entrar en el casco urbano avistaremos la enorme mole de la Colegiata, más adelante llegaremos a la iglesia de Santo Domingo y atravesando la Plaza Mayor llegaremos a la iglesia de San Juan. Los otros monumentos medievales religiosos de Castrojeriz los encontraremos a las afueras, como el convento de Santa Clara y las ruinas de otros dos conventos, los de San Francisco y San Antón.

Ruinas del monasterio de san Francisco, escondido hoy en día entre la maleza de la naturaleza, podemos apreciar fijándonos bien en los arcos y lo que fue este monasterio.
