Castle of Skofja Loka

This castle is located in the upper part of the city, and I am not sure of exactly when it was constructed, though I do know it was the XIII century. It was the administrative center of the Loka territory, and the grocery store also served as a lodging to the bishops during their stays. In 1511 an earthquake almost completely destroyed it but it was rebuilt by Bishop Filip. Today there is a museum inside (archeology, ethnography, history, natural sciences)
