Sleep in a castle in the Loire Valley
Very near the Castle of Chaumont and its magnificent gardens, lies the village of Onzain. It is an ideal place to stop while strolling through the Loire Valley. The Chateau des Tertres is an extensive private property with a main XIX century building manor with 14 rooms. There is also a modern house 50 meters from the castle with 4 bedrooms plus that accommodate three to four guests each. The decor in the castle is classic and in the house it is contemporary. There are beautiful gardens, parking and bicycles for guests. Breakfast is continental but there is a table with cereals, yogurts and fruits also.
The service is very attentive and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, much more than what is expected of a 3-star place. Highly recommended.
