Castillejos

Castillejos is the Spanish name of the Moroccan Fnideq. about 2 km from Ceuta at times of the protectorate it was the border with Spain. Today is an important commercial center of Ceuta, selling goods imported four ways: in trucks, vans, cars and on foot. It is an unedifying spectacle to see older women laden with huge bundles of goods cross the border to souks of Castillejos. From the days of Protectorate is preserved the unequal status, the food market, the Catholic Church, Mission films, the old town hall, coffee and Silver train station linking Tetuan and Ceuta. We're here because it's near one of the best beaches in northern Morocco, opposite the old barracks of the first third of the Legion, in Dar Riffien.
