Il villaggio di Kizkalesi vanta ben due castelli: oltre a quello in mezzo al mare, ce n'è anche un altro affacciato sulla baia. E' il castello di Korykos, situato all'estremità settentrionale della spiaggia. Costruito dai bizantini, fu occupato successivamente dai sovrani del regno armeno di Cilicia. La sua possente mole dà il benvenuto in città a chi arriva al villaggio da est, percorrendo la strada costiera.
The village of Kizkalesi boasts two castles: in addition to the one in the middle of the sea, there is also another overlooking the bay.
