Albergue Solar de Hidalgos

La Casona El Solar de Hidalgos is located in the center of the Cantabrian town of Santillana del Mar and is one of the most traditional palatial houses in the village, as it has retained the majority of its heraldic shields that are still in its facade. The original structure goes all the way back to the 15th centure, but today has it has been enabled and transformed into a superb 3 star establishment, after much renovation that lasted until 1998, keeping its traditional style and having been nicely decorated inside with many of the objects that were in the ancestral house, as: Pictures, armor, weapons, pottery, vases, pianos or even your library.
