Cascades of the Fjord

Seydisfjordur Fjord is one of the most beautiful of east Iceland. Apart from the picturesque town and the fjord itself, it should be noted that there are natural wonders on the road from Egilsstadir, capital of the area, and Seydisfjordur. As you go down to the fjord, you will see more and more waterfalls, and each one more and more impressive. Some appear to be lost in the caves, and others fall down from quite a height. Some can be accessed by visitors, and others cannot be. That is common in Iceland since the grounds are very delimited by fences, and many of the waterfalls, not the most important, are on private land and not accessible.
