The best views of the Garona Valley
Another interesting village scattered in the Valley of Arán like small random spots of color in grey and brown. Its main attraction is (aside from the impressive views of the Garona valley and above all, the capital, Vielha) is the church of Sant Andreu, another one of the list of marvelous Romanesque constructions of Arán.
When you reach places such as this one, the best option is to let yourself be guided by instinct and not have a planned route, letting yourself be carried away by all that awakens your senses. Its privileged location makes it a very interesting destination within the valley, although it is one of the lesser known places, a great starting point for hiking and also enjoying views of the Garona valley.
A series of typical houses, brooks and rivulets running wild, green, blue and a waft of countryside await you in this place, very little “humanity” as Casau only has 60 inhabitants. A true delight to get away from it all.
