This restaurant, near the Corte Ingles department store, is the best I've found in the city of Leon. The manager, Ramon, has years of experience, and it shows. His dishes showcase traditional home cooking (including great desserts), but there's also a haute cuisine menu for the most demanding diners. You'll feel right at home in this warm, family atmosphere, with walls covered with antique photos and ads. Even the bathrooms are worth seeing, decorated with funny pictures. Open every day except Sunday, it's essential that you book in advance because this restaurant is well-known and extremely popular.
