Herrera-style
Within the Historical District of Plasencia, you’ll find the picturesque façade of the “House of Los Almaraz.” It is a 16th century Herrera-style building that is very well-preserved. One of the highlights is the family crest which sits above a wide balcony supported by two Ionic columns and a roof composed of small pyramids typical of the style. In the heavy doorway, you can also see two semi-columns that accompany and compliment the characteristic stone of the aristocratic homes of the Plasencia region.
