Freshly shucked oyster's, ocean views and fishermen
Sit out on the patio or inside this cozy restaurant, situated in Stanley Bridge, just outside of Cavendish, Prince Edward Island (the home of 'Anne of Green Gables'). Views of the New London Bay and the local fishermen coming and going with their catch make this stop a great location while traveling the PEI countryside.
Specializing in seafood you can enjoy two different types of creamy chowder, several types of seafood, from oysters to mussels, to clams and even your choice of lobster!
Stop in and get some of their famous oysters. Prices are great and you can choose the size oyster, from small to large, depending on your appetite. Wait staff is incredibly friendly- feel free to ask them for ideas about what to visit on the island as you tour. They'll also make recommendations for what to order if you're too tempted by all the great food on the menu.
They stay open longer into the off-season, until mid October and may be one of the few restaurants available during off-season tourism on the north central end of Prince Edward Island, but worth the stop no matter the season. Hours fluctuate depending on time of year, but usually they are open until 7 PM. They won't turn you away though if you come in right before close.
