4 reviews of Carloforte

Typically Sardinian

Leaving from Calasette or Portoscuso on the Island of Sant’Antioco, you can take a 40-minute ferry to the small island of Isola di San Pietro and get off at the port of the island’s only town: Carloforte. The scene is very typically Sardinian: small, colorful Genovese-style homes strung along narrow streets full of shops and restaurants. The people speak a dialect similar to that of Liguria.
