Naval Museum (Museo Naval)

This former military barracks complex was opened to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America. Here you'll find a special section about submarines, shipbuilding in Cartagena de Indias and cartography, as well as a tour through the maritime history of Colombia, with scenes of conquest, naval battles, forts, and shipping. It has two main areas, the Colonial and Republican, and here you can see historical, scientific and interactive materials, donated by the Colombian Navy and some Caribbean countries.
