Captren Lagoon- National Park Conguillio
Entering Captren Laguna Conguillio National Park, by the Lake Captrén area (the road which comesfrom Curacautín), we come across this gap, and there we find few tourists visiting it, a lagoon formed by constant volcanic eruptions, you can see in the bordering forest beech, ñirre, hazel, maitén, mountain cypress and lleuques, plus the inevitable Araucaria Araucana, also many tree trunks submerged in the lagoon as the reminders of past violent eruptions.
