Capilla de San Jorge, Berschis

St. George's Chapel is perched on a mountain on the east side of Berschis, it belongs to Canton St. Gallen, and it's easy to guess which road goes to the chapel, the name of the road up is Cavortschstrasse, but there comes a time to leave the car and walk (it's nice to do with children). This chapel is the oldest of the Canton St. Gallen, thanks to the archaeological findings and the discovery of a stone ax that demonstrated human activity since the Bronze Age. The chapel has two bells that are more than 600 years old. There's a small altar, called "Flumser" and place was certainly created with peace and true religious consciousness.
