Lovely and tranquil beach

Canto de la Playa is a little ways away from the beach where all of the Saona Island day tours arrive so it's a lot less crowded and a lot nicer. There is a coral reef around so it is great for snorkeling. Near Canto de la Playa, there is also a large sandbar which creates a sort of waist-deep natural pool where you can wade out and play with the starfish.
