Visiting Bahia without trying acarajé is sacrilegious, but it would be worse to miss the opportunity to meet Nara, owner of Cantinho do Acarajé, and experience one of the delicacies served at her establishment. Located just off of the Rua do Mucug, the restaurant serves acarajé and tapioca, in addition to a host of other typical dishes from Bahia like pimenta, sweet coconut, coconut water, and cachaça. Be sure to take home the cocadinhas packaged in small portions, to give to friends.
